| This New Year honor your vows...
And mind your P's and Q's!
This On-Purpose Proverb may appear more targeted to the married folk out there, but it applies equally to all.
Many years ago, my wife and I attended a New Year’s Eve party at our church. At 11:45 PM a communion service began. At midnight, we welcomed in the New Year. Our first act of the New Year was to renew our wedding vows. This idea stuck with me that New Year’s resolutions are only half the deal. The New Year is an ideal time to renew wedding vows, recommit to your faith, give thanks for your children, and embrace the positive commitments you’ve made through the preceding years. Try it right now!
Now minding your P's and Q's. The devil they say is in details. Your vows and good intentions are subject to spiritual warfare! So guard what's important, keep the big picture in mind, and pay attention to getting the details right.
This New Year honor your vows...
And mind your P's and Q's!
